About Observe and Rapport
Observe and Rapport is a blog, Instagram, and podcast channel that discusses wisdom, perspective, and lifestyle habits gained from books and other historical forms of media.
I have an insatiable appetite for knowledge, having read over 500 books on topics ranging from philosophy, technology, science, fitness, nutrition, and productivity. This blog is intended to show you my side of looking at things – how I optimize my life, why I do things a certain way, and where I get my ideas from. I review my favorite books, articles, shows, products, and lifestyle routines. I’m an aspiring writer and hope to one day write a book. This site serves as my canvas; to work out ideas, essays, and other exploratory jottings.
About Me
I’m Kyle. I am a 31-year-old from Long Island currently living in Huntington with my beautiful wife Lauren. I started writing for my school newspaper in college and developed a passion for writing and sharing my thoughts.
Outside of writing, I have a full-time job as a digital marketer for a large global agency. I’m also an accomplished triathlete, marathon runner, and Volunteer Firefighter for the Huntington Fire Department.
There’s nothing more I love than hearing other people’s opinions. I don’t claim to be an expert on anything and my point of view on just about everything can be changed from one day to another. So please, if you have any feedback, comments, or questions, feel free to leave a note in the comments section or message me directly either via the site or my several social media outlets.
Hope you enjoy it.
