The late comedian Patrice O'Neal once said, "Men want to be alone, but we don't want to be by ourselves." There is a big difference between being lonely and being alone. We all know that alone time can be much needed, but how do we confront the epidemic of loneliness in modern society? After all, if you are never alone, you cannot know yourself.  At 8:46 am on September 11, 2001, 14,000 people were inside the twin towers-reading e-mails, making trades, eating croissants at Windows on the World. Over the next 102 minutes, each would become part of a drama for the ages, one witnessed only by the people who lived it-until now. The more I read, the more I can appreciate how much we truly don't know about history - either through omission of fact, the disappearance of data, ignorance, or even plain old arrogance. Pride is concerned with who is right, but humility is concerned with what is right.  👇Comment below if you disagree! A fun read and a unique story to show us how much we should appreciate the mundanity of our everyday lives by @mattzhaig The most valuable gift you have to offer is yourself 📚 I see clips of @drjoedispenza on IG and TikTok all the time, and I've always been drawn to his idea that humans can tap into energy frequencies to alter our own state of consciousness and even our biology and the environment we live in.  National Book Lovers Day is celebrated on August 9th every year to raise awareness about the importance of books and celebrate the common love and appreciation for books. My dad gifted me a copy of The Go-Giver when I was 19 years old. I read it in three hours. It was one of the most profound books I had read at that point in my life. The message was simple - the more you GIVE, the more you GET.
